Naturopathy is a system of healing and preventative medicine which seeks to improve a persons lifestyle so as to help them regain their health and achieve a higher level of wellbeing and vitality.
Naturopathy sees our health as relying on a balance of Biochemical, Emotional and Structural components of our makeup. This is why a Naturopath looks at how we eat, think and move. Nutritional counseling, Stress management and wholistic exercise all play their part in the healing process.
Naturopathy can treat a wide range of conditions as every disease can be helped by adopting a healthier lifestyle. Common problems that can be helped are skin and digestive problems, breathing problems, joint pain and general inflammation.
On booking an appointment you will be asked to bring with you a diet diary of everything you have eaten and drunk over the last week.
During the hour-long consultation, you’ll be asked about your medical history and given a clinical examination which looks at your blood pressure, pulse, skin tone, circulation and other signs of general health.
Your Naturopath will then assess your diet and recommend dietary changes where necessary to assist your body’s healing process. As well as nutritional advice, you may be offered lymphatic drainage, stress management, deep relaxation, exercises, or occasionally a detox program to enable a speedy return to better health.
First session- £50 – 1 hour (special child rates apply)

Jonathan Shaw D.O. N.D. M.R.N GOSC is a registered Osteopath and Naturopath and has been in practice for 32 years. He graduated from the British College of Osteopathy and Naturopathy. Jonathan established Goldings Hill Clinic 25 years ago and remains the director of the Clinic. He also lectures in Nutrition and Natural therapies at the college of Osteopathic medicine and is a guest lecturer at the London school of Osteopathy.
Jonathan believes not only in providing a professional and effective treatment approach to a wide range of health problems but also in helping people to develop a Naturopathic healthier life style that will enable them to avoid many of the illnesses that affect our everyday lives. His holistic treatments may therefore also include advise on nutrition, exercise and stress management when he feels they are relevant.
Jonathan is a Naturopathic Osteopath combining classical Osteopathic technique with a deep knowledge of nutrition, stress management and exercise in order to maximize the effects of Osteopathy and help his patients to regain a high level of health and wellbeing.
